{"id":270,"date":"2014-11-09T21:01:19","date_gmt":"2014-11-09T21:01:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eatoncheshire.co.uk\/?page_id=270"},"modified":"2014-11-09T21:01:51","modified_gmt":"2014-11-09T21:01:51","slug":"eaton-hall","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.eatoncheshire.co.uk\/index.php\/eaton-community-news\/eaton-hall\/","title":{"rendered":"Eaton Hall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Eaton Hall estate was part of lands owned by the Brereton family in the sixteenth century which\u00a0passed to William Rode in the seventeenth century and then at the end of the seventeenth century\u00a0the estate came under the ownership of the <a title=\"The Antrobus Family\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eatoncheshire.co.uk\/?page_id=528\">Antrobus family.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Much of the land in and around the village has been owned by the Eaton Hall estate belonging to\u00a0the Antrobus family. The last Eaton Hall was built in the Victorian gothic style in 1828 although\u00a0the original eighteenth century stable block had been retained.
