On Saturday 23rd Chantelle Christy and Ben Gabbitas were married at St. Michael’s Church, just as Chantelle’s parents Nova and Nils were married here exactly 28 years ago to the day.

The church was stunningly decorated with the most glorious display of flowers, and even trees, and opened on Sunday and Monday for all to enjoy. On Sunday evening the Festival Evensong took place, with the St. Christopher Chorale led by Philip Crookall, who delighted a crowded congregation with their singing.

Thanks also to the talented cooks who provided a variety of cakes, very much appreciated by the many visitors. A great holiday weekend!
